Expert Self-Tan Tips: 

  1. Prepare Your Skin
  • Exfoliate your skin (ideally 24 hours before you apply your tan).
  • After your shower, ensure your skin is clean and dry.
  • Apply lotion only to key areas: hands, elbows, knees, and feet.
  1. Apply the Tan
  • Grab your tanning mitt.
  • Shake bottle before use.
  • Add the tanning product to your mitt, then apply 1-2 layers to your skin in a circular motion
  • Remember, our product is toxin-free, so don't expect an instant tan.
  1. Develop the Tan
  • Wait 5-7 hours for your tan to fully develop.
  • One layer delivers a lovely, natural look.
  • Two layers achieve a deeper tan.
  1. Build Your Tan (if you want!)
  • Feel free to build upon your tan to your heart's content 
  • The second layer can be applied immediately or the next day.
  • We’re particularly fond of the double-layer approach!

    Secret Hack: Tan your hands last, using only the mitt residue for the outer areas of your hands, then finish with lotion all over to blend it in. This prevents your hands from looking darker than your body or having orange palms (iykyk). 

    Tips to a Lasting Tan

    1. Moisturize your skin daily.
    2. Pat your skin dry after showers (or any water activity).
    3. Exfoliate weekly prior to applying your tan.
